This map provides an updated snapshot of National Grid DSO's flexibility procurement activities covering the six-month summer period from 1 April to 30 September 2025. Over the summer, our flexibility markets continued to scale rapidly, driven in large part by the new Demand Turn-Up product, cutting peak-time power flows, avoiding costly reinforcement, and delivering meaningful savings for consumers.
What These Numbers Mean
These metrics represent real, operational flexibility at scale. With 1.1 GWh delivered and ~197k assets registered, NGED is proving that flexibility markets work and deliver value for customers and the network.
